NSW States 2014 Accommodation

Peter Robinson, Batemans Bay, NSW, Tuesday, 20 August 2013

For those considering entering the NSW State Championships 25-27th April 2014 you may wish to secure your accommodation early as ANZAC weekend is popular for those wishing to spend the last days of summer (hopefully!) at the seaside.

The Big4 Batemans Bay Beach Resort is close to the sailing club and is accessible from the beach approx 100m along from the club. It is possible to rig at the caravan park and launch from the beach. Overnight the boats may be left on the grounds. The response to my enquiry from the resort is below.

If you follow the link below to the site map, the best cabins for proximity to the beach access and sailing club are: "Snapper Island" to "Marlin", although any cabin or camp site at the northern end of the facility will be okay (OK?). At the time of publishing there is good availability and bookings can be made with a deposit.

Hi Peter,

Thank you for your enquiry.

The cabins that you have mentioned will vary from Deluxe Spa cabins, Deluxe cabins and two Storey cabins. These cabins are all two bedrooms and the beds are made up of a queen sized bed in the first room and a double bed with a single bunk overhead in the second room.

As that weekend is the ANZAC day long weekend, we are extremely busy in the park and there is a minimum stay of 3 nights.

We're unable to offer any discounts, but we are happy for children (2-14) to stay free.

These are the prices of the cabins mentioned above for 2 adults for three nights:

Two Storey:  $660.00

Deluxe Spa: $630.00

Deluxe:        $590.00

We won't be able to hold any cabins without deposits.

If you have any further enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
