Sydney Harbour Championships - Races 1-3

by Peter Robinson

The first three races in this season's Sydney Harbour Championships will be held at Drummoyne Sailing Club this weekend, 2nd and 3rd November. This will also be a special event for the OKs as this is the DSC Centenary year.

Two races are scheduled for Saturday and one on Sunday - this may change as required by weather conditions. First race will be 13:00 on Saturday with the second race to follow back-to-back. The race on Sunday will be within the DSC Junior race program and will start at approximately 13:30.

Races will be conducted under the DSC, Junior Division, Sailing Instructions which may be found at:

A briefing will be held in the Sailors Lounge at 12:00 on Saturday. No entry will be required for current members of any Australian State OK Association but it will be a requirement to sign on and off on each day of racing.

The OK DSC Centenary Dinner will be held in the new Board Room at 18:30 - sailors, partners and families all welcome. Dinner will be from the menu at Rosabelle's Bistro in the main level of the club at usual menu prices.

There is parking available for boat trailers and boats may be left rigged on the lawn area to the north of the club overnight.
